On behalf of all the children, staff and Governors I’d like to warmly welcome you to St Wilfrid’s Church of England Primary School website.
This website has been created to give you a snapshot glance at some of the exciting things that we do at St Wilfrids, and to give you some information that we think you may find helpful. Admission forms, application forms and other relevant forms are available for you to download and return to school. School newsletters will also be posted regularly on the website to keep you informed. If you have any ideas of other things you would like us to include on our website, please feel free to contact us and share your ideas!
We are a school that is committed to the achievement of each and every child. We celebrate success at every level, promoting a thirst for learning, by providing an exciting and stimulating learning environment. We recognise the importance of our impact on encouraging learning that continues with our children throughout their future school experiences and lives.
An essential ingredient for this to happen is teamwork. Our school mission statement is ‘Working Together As One.’ We view education as a joint venture, involving everyone – children, parents, staff, Governors and the wider community. We hope that we will be able to depend on your co-operation and support in this partnership, hoping that together we can provide the best for every child.
